IT Advisor - Technology Consulting - Digital Engineering - Government and Public Sector SLED - Manager - Multiple Positions - 1704140, EY Government Services LLC, Hoboken, NJ.
Provide a full range of consulting services to help State, Local and Education clients implement new ideas to help solve complex problems through purpose-led transformation. Assist clients envision, design, and implement digital solutions and services involving mobile technologies, customer experience, analytics, content management, cloud technologies and other services. Develop customer experience and user interaction for digital projects, including experience maps and personas, information architecture, and other deliverables. Serve as a front-end, data migration, and integrations developer for solutions, collaborating with other development and design team members on an Agile software team. Apply industry best-practices, techniques and methods to software development including writing maintainable, testable software code. Liaise with Office of Technology & Innovation (T&I) staff to identify and resolve technical issues. Define the features and requirements for digital products, including web applications, mobile solutions, social and other digital platforms. Develop project plans, briefings and other required artifacts for engagements as required. Develop capability briefings and various work products/marketing pieces for digital to support a growing internal center of excellence and community of practice. Support business development activities for digital opportunities, including capture management, client presentations and proposal support.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of related experience.
Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:- Revising control systems in GitHub, and developing software with teams using pull request model;
- Developing navigation, interfaces for different types of screens/user-end experiences on different devices, and layouts that are focused on user needs; AND
- Hands-on experience with both relational (such as SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, Azure DB and/or Neo4J) and NoSQL database technologies (including MongoDB). Must have 2 years of experience with at least 1 of the following Cloud Services: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or GCP. Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following web development technologies and languages:
- HTML
- CSS and Frameworks (such as LESS or SASS)
- React
- Angular
- JQuery
- NodeJS
- Elastic Search
- Javascript
- XML/XSLT Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
- Leading integration technologies, including Mulesoft;
- Integrating Salesforce.com with external systems;
- Developing and implementing data migration, including ETL and master data considerations; AND
- Agile software development (such as Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe). Must have 2 years of experience in state and local licensing and permitting technology solutions. Must have 4 years of experience in professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including in one or a combination of any of the following: coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and/or operations.
Must have 3 years of experience in written and oral presentations to client stakeholders.
Must have 1 year of experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments. Must have 2 years of experience managing project teams. Must be eligible to obtain CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification within one year of hire or promotion. Requires domestic travel up to 80% to serve client needs. The base salary for this job is $154,036.00 per year. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
