Senior Technician

Eaton's Light Safety division is currently seeking a Senior Technician. This role is located out of Long Branch, NJ. The expected annual salary range for this role is $52,612 - $77,164 a year. The technician will be responsible for assembling, reworking, testing, and documenting work as needed to support product development. It's where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential-and where you can help us reach ours. **What you'll do:** - Partner with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and other operations staff to maintain and update process documentation - Continuously review work processes to identify opportunities for improvement and advancement - Partner with ME on the initiation and implementation of changes to improve production quality - Partner with engineering to identify and implement cost saving measures - Perform testing and measurement in accordance with engineering, production and industry specifications - Perform test set ups, repairs and adjustments to maximize run time and minimize down time - Collect and verify data during test process and compile information for review - Maintain test environment and equipment - Serve as ESD subject matter expert for the business, ensuring all associated safety and quality measures are implemented and observed - Comply with established environmental, health and safety practices to ensure a safe work place. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent is required - Soldering and prototype circuit building experience - Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office - Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship now or in the future - No relocation benefit is offered for this role. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Eaton facility.
