We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Middlesex County, NJ. In this role you will be responsible for accounts payable, invoice processing, payment processing, check runs, and more. If you have 2+ years of accounts payable experience and are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
• Manage all accounts payable transactions including invoice entry, matching and coding invoices, and invoice processing.
• Process payments via checks, credit cards, ACH, and other authorized payment methods.
• Prepare and execute check runs while maintaining compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Respond to inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
• At least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Proficiency with invoice entry, account coding, and payment processing in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
