Director Small to Medium Business Sales
Job Type: Full-Time About the Role Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving sales and leading high-performing teams? We're looking for an experienced Director of Small Business Sales, B2B to spearhead our go-to-market strategy and sales execution within a defined geographic region. In this role, you'll lead a team of sales managers and their representatives, focusing on new business acquisition, retention, and overall revenue growth. What You'll Do Lead and Inspire: Oversee a team of 3-5 Sales Managers, ensuring they drive performance and meet sales objectives.
Drive Sales Success: Develop and execute strategies to enhance business sales and retention while identifying opportunities for growth.
Monitor Market Trends: Analyze external market conditions and internal processes to remove obstacles and optimize results.
Foster a Winning Culture: Build a collaborative, high-energy sales environment where best practices and accountability drive success.
Champion Sales Processes: Define and implement streamlined sales operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Develop Compensation Programs: Design incentive plans that motivate and reward top performance.
Provide Executive-Level Insights: Prepare and present proposals, reports, and performance updates.
Mentor and Train: Conduct regular coaching sessions, sales meetings, and professional development workshops.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to company policies, processes, and best practices. What You Bring Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in B2B sales management, preferably in the telecommunications or cable industry.
Proven success in managing a large, multi-location sales team with a strong focus on door-to-door sales.
Deep understanding of business customer needs, sales strategies, and product positioning.
Experience launching new products and services within the telecom space.
Strong analytical skills—able to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable sales strategies.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working cross-functionally with departments like Sales Operations, Marketing, HR, and Product Management.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools like Salesforce.
