As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This unarmed patrol role offers the chance to support guests and staff in an energetic setting while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.18 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, vendors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access expectations, and applicable security-related policies throughout the property.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, property damage, and/or policy violations, and document observations through required reports and activity logs.
• Support crowd and traffic flow during busy event periods by providing directions, assisting with line management, and reporting security-related concerns that may need additional attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
