Entry-Level Technician
Location: South Plainfield, NJ Type: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $20–$22/hour
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
ENTRY-LEVEL TECHNICIAN (Fluent in Mandarin)
- Operate one or more MOCVD systems under supervision
- Perform wafer cleaning using standard wet chemical/acid hoods
- Handle indium phosphide (InP) wafers for reactor loading, unloading, and post-process characterization
- Maintain SPC charts, process logs, and growth databases
- Assist engineers with troubleshooting tools and lab support
- Perform visual inspections and optical microscopy
- Maintain a clean, safe lab environment in compliance with safety procedures
- Must be Fluent in Mandarin Language (native)
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Material Sciences required. Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom or laboratory setting
- Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented
