This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator who wants to stay in the courtroom and doing real work —without the pressure of billable hours.

About the Role

This position sits within a high-volume commercial and consumer litigation practice , focused on representing creditors and financial institutions.

You will manage cases from start to finish, including:

• Discovery
• Motion practice
• Arbitration and mediation
• Court appearances
• Client coordination

Prior collections experience is NOT required

The firm is open to litigators from a variety of backgrounds who want to transition into this space (including defense-side litigators and prosecutors).

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active New Jersey Bar admission REQUIRED
• New York Bar is a strong plus
• 1–3+ years of litigation experience
• Comfortable handling hearings, motions, or courtroom appearances
• Strong organizational and case management skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 (DOE)
• Bonus: Semi-annual bonuses typically ranging from $5K–$10K
