Executive-Level Opportunity: Base Film Sourcing Manager – Drive Global Packaging Strategy!

Are you a seasoned Sourcing expert ready to take on a high-stakes, global packaging portfolio for some of the world's most beloved consumer snacking products?

We are seeking a Base Film Sourcing Manager to join a leading Commercial organization. This is a crucial 12-month contract role focused on value creation, supply resiliency, and sustainability within a complex, fast-paced environment.If you have a minimum of 7 years of supply chain experience, exceptional negotiation skills, and a global perspective, we want you to drive our next generation of sustainable packaging initiatives!

What You’ll Need to Bring

• Education: University degree required. A degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering is preferred.

• Required Experience (Deal Breaker): Minimum 7 years’ experience in supply chain, with preference for packaging sourcing experience.

• Essential Skills: Proven expertise in Negotiation, Communication, Stakeholder Management, Drive for Results, Sourcing Category Expertise, and Data Analytics. Must be highly organized.

• Mindset: Ability to encompass a large scope and a broad perspective are crucial, as the role reports into a manager with global scope.

Position Details

• Role Duration: 12 months (Temporary/can be extended).

• Location: Newark (North America focused).

The Packaging Commercial department is tasked with improving resiliency, enhancing sustainability, and driving value creation. You will be central to achieving these goals by focusing on the core packaging materials for all snacking products.

• Strategic Sourcing: Work with key suppliers and stakeholders on cross-functional projects to build a more sustainable future.

• Drive Results: Quickly understand the category and key opportunities, easily building relationships to drive complex initiatives forward at pace.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Suppliers, R&D, Activity Management, Commercial Operations, and Sourcing teams to manage a diverse group of stakeholders.

• Core Priorities: Your performance will be measured by key KPIs focused on Savings, Resiliency, and Sustainability .
