Job Description

Join our team as a Boiler Operator, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers and related equipment, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Log readings accurately in a log book.
• Inspect worksites for potential problems and ensure safety compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service while visiting various sites on campus.
• Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and related equipment.
• Monitor temperature controls and gauge readings to ensure optimal performance.

Essential Skills

• Experience in boiler operation and documentation.
• Proficiency in customer service.
• Possession of a high-pressure black seal boiler license.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Blue Seal certification is advantageous.
• Strong documentation writing skills.

Work Environment

This position is based in a multi-city university that operates continuously. As part of the facility department, you'll be considered essential personnel, ensuring the university remains open and functional at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PISCATAWAY, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
