Director, Business Development
SALES TERRITORY: Central MD, Philadelphia PA, and Newark NJ POSITION: Full-Time Benefit Eligible SALARY: $105,000-135,000 Base + Commission (Based on performance of the territories)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on sales leader who thrives on developing talent, building strong partnerships, and driving regional growth. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to exceed regional referral goals across multiple territories. You’ll support your team in identifying and developing referral sources, executing effective sales strategies, and continuously growing their skills. You’ll spend much of your time in the field, providing hands-on coaching and guidance, conducting regular territory visits, and helping the team prioritize high-impact opportunities. You'll also collaborate with leadership to expand into new markets and identify strategies that align with business growth. A key part of your role will be developing and maintaining strong referral relationships, tracking and managing performance through a CRM, and ensuring each team member has the tools, training, and support they need to thrive. You’ll lead team check-ins, guide sales planning and forecasting, and help drive accountability while fostering professional development. You’ll also contribute directly to new business development in key areas and represent the organization at events and community engagements. You’ll work closely with the VP of Business Development to track metrics, refine strategies, and stay informed on industry trends—ensuring that both you and your team are always growing, improving, and staying ahead.BENEFITS:
