Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Otolaryngology
Description
. This contract position is an excellent opportunity for an associate-level physician who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic medical practice environment.
As a Locum MD in Otolaryngology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the ear, nose, and throat. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management and will be responsible for performing various procedures associated with the specialty. This role also allows you to immerse yourself in a professional atmosphere that values collaboration and patient-focused care.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a variety of ear, nose, and throat disorders
- Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures as required
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Conduct patient assessments and follow-up evaluations
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in otolaryngology
- Educate patients and families about treatment options and preventive measures
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in otolaryngology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced medical environment
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Overnight beeper call coverage required
Daily Volume: 24 patients
Case Types: Bread and butter ENT
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel and expenses
