The Role

As a Tax Manager, you will lead the tax department's delivery of high-level compliance and advisory services. You'll manage client relationships from start to finish, acting as the bridge between the partners and the staff. Key Responsibilities

• Engagement Management: Oversee the lifecycle of tax engagements for HNWIs, closely-held businesses, and S- Corps/Partnerships.
• Technical Review: Perform final reviews of complex individual, corporate, and fiduciary returns.
• Strategic Planning: Lead tax planning sessions, identifying opportunities for tax mitigation and estate planning.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior staff, managing workflows to ensure deadlines are met without "fire drills."
• Client Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for a dedicated book of business, providing proactive advice throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Certification: Active CPA license is required.
• Education: Bachelor's in Accounting; Master's in Tax (MST) preferred.
• Soft Skills: A "client-first" mentality with the ability to manage a team in a hybrid environment.
