- Translating workflows and requirements into UI under guidance from the Senior UI/UX lead
- Executing day-to-day UI design work using established components, patterns, and guidelines
- Contributing to maintaining and documenting the design system, including helping update the component library
- Defining interaction details such as states, validation, empty/error states, and focus/hover behavior
- Designing UI aligned with Angular Material patterns and component behavior
- Preparing design assets and notes to support efficient developer handoff
- Collaborating with engineers during implementation and support design QA
- Supporting responsive design and accessibility standards
- BA or BS degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1-3 years of UI or digital product design experience
- Portfolio required; should demonstrate strong UI craft and explain design decisions
- Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, spacing, hierarchy, and color theory
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for pixel-level UI quality and able to produce clean, consistent designs that translate well to development
- Solid understanding of interaction design principles and component behavior
- Familiarity with accessibility fundamentals
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and interest in learning front-end concepts; experience with component-based frameworks is a plus
- Desire to build for the long term with scalable, flexible design systems
- Strong proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred)
- Clear communicator who collaborates well with engineers and cross-functional partners
- A growth mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment
- The following items are preferred but not required:
- Exposure to enterprise or SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with Angular Material
- Experience contributing to a design system or component library
- Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, MixPanel, Amplitude)
