President Container Group, a leading independent manufacturer of Corrugated Packaging (Sheets, Boxes, Trays, Partitions, Displays etc..) is seeking a full time experienced Purchasing Analyst for its corporate headquarters in Moonachie, NJ. The manufacturing facility is in rural Orange County, NY (Middletown, NY), 60 miles north of New York City (20 miles from New Jersey and Pennsylvania). President Container, the manufacturing arm of PCG, is one of the largest corrugated plants (over 600,000 square feet) in North America. Our state-of-the-art facility has some of the most up-to-date machinery in the industry, and with it we produce in excess of 2.3 billion square feet of corrugated each year. Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to join our team in Moonachie, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the industrial packaging and corrugated boxes industry. This role requires familiarity with procuring various items and managing multiple vendors. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to develop new product lines and source new vendors, while being analytical, growth-oriented, and comfortable working on the warehouse floor.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for industrial packaging products and corrugated boxes.

· Source and evaluate new vendors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective procurement.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new product lines.

· Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.

· Manage multiple vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery and stock availability.

· Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

· Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the industrial packaging and corrugated boxes industry.

· Familiarity with procuring various items and managing multiple vendors.

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Interest in business growth and development.

· Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and interacting with warehouse staff.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.

· Bilingual is a plus.
