Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and companionship to clients in their homes
• Encourage and support clients to maintain as much independence as possible with their care
• Follow care plans developed by our Registered Nurses and assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Support clients with medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments or errands
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Follow infection control and safety policies and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing high-quality care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes

Additional Requirements:

• Physical examination and PPD (tuberculosis) test within the past 12 months
• MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccination
• Valid Social Security Number (SSN) and/or valid Immigration Documents (if applicable)
