ABA Paraprofessional – Pompton Lakes (School-Based | 2026–2027)

Horizon Staffing Resources is hiring a compassionate and reliable ABA Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting in Pompton Lakes, NJ. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a daily impact while building experience in special education.

Schedule:
✔ Monday–Friday | Hours dependent on school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 behavioral and instructional support using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under BCBA supervision
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs with fidelity
• Collect and record data on behaviors, progress, and IEP goals
• Support academics, transitions, daily routines, and vocational or life-skills activities
• Promote student safety, independence, communication, and positive behavior while maintaining dignity

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an ABA setting required
• High School Diploma (required)
• Experience with children or special needs preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must have or be willing to obtain BOE fingerprinting
