Job Responsibilities:

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership to the agile project team tasked with migrating MOVEit jobs to Snowflake.
• Design and implement codified and repeatable migration patterns for different complexity Jobs from MOVEit to Snowflake. Extract, transform, and load logic to automate data collection and manage data processes/pipelines including data quality and monitoring
• Design and build the migration factory with codified scripts and common plugins for accelerating/automating migration of jobs.
• Provide design inputs to improve client implementation of Snowflake
• Partner with cross functional stakeholders within and outside the business unit to build integrated solutions that can scale.
• Write and review technical documents, including requirements and design documents for existing and future data systems, as well as data standards and policies
• Design data pipelines based on business and functional requirements
• Guide team on overall mapping and ETL process
• Co-ordinate with multiple source systems team to get the required data in file formats and work with Architect to resolve any data issues or dependencies.
• Contribute to the development of data frameworks on cloud

Skills and Experience Required:

• 10+ years of Data Architecture/Data Warehousing experience
• Expert knowledge of Snowflake with more than eight (8) years of hands‑on experience with Snowflake
• Exposure to Data warehousing and various ingestion patterns from multiple sources.
• Good hands‑on experience in Snowflake migration projects with good understanding of Snowflake architecture and building pipelines for ingestion
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using snowpipe, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts
• Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features
• Experience in Data Migration to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
• Experience with enterprise cloud economics Understanding of enterprise data management concepts (Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Sharing, Data Applications)
• Hands‑on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
