Senior Accountant High Schools

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to perform financial statement preparation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, in a well-organized and timely manner for five High Schools in the Diocese of Camden. This role involves working closely with bookkeepers to provide accurate and timely information to school administration.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly closing tasks including journal entries for month end revenue and expense accruals.
- Perform account reconciliations and analysis for all Balance Sheet accounts.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements and provide variance analysis.
- Provide assistance in the development of the annual budget.
- Provide forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles, processes, procedures, and standards.
- As a Senior Accountant, you will be required to perform financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with 3 years prior experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles, processes, procedures, and standards.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Software (Excel, Word & Outlook.)
- Exemplary planning and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- High level verbal and written communications skills.
