**Job Title: Housekeeping** **Job Description** Perform general maintenance of buildings, including trash removal, recycling, moving furniture and boxes, setting up rooms for special events, and breaking down rooms after events. **Responsibilities** + Remove trash and recycle materials as needed. + Move and arrange furniture for various setups. + Prepare rooms for special events and dismantle setups afterward. + Assist with relocating offices. + Maintain clean offices and general facilities. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in material handling. + Knowledge of safety procedures. + Customer service skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and occasional indoor work. **Why Work Here?** Join a state company with excellent long-term benefits, represented by Union Company Local 97. The position is on the 1st shift, from 7 am to 4 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, NJ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
