Tax Associate - (Fund Structuring)
A leading New York law firm is seeking a US‑qualified lawyer to join its tax team. The role involves advising clients on a broad range of domestic and international tax matters, with a particular emphasis on the private investment funds industry.
The successful candidate will focus on the formation and operation of domestic and international credit and real estate funds, as well as advising on bankruptcy restructurings, project finance, and renewable energy transactions. Prior experience in the structuring and operation of private investment funds—including private equity, real estate, secondary, distressed debt, fund‑of‑funds, and hedge fund vehicles—is highly advantageous.
The team includes practitioners with deep transactional experience in the real estate sector, regularly advising real estate funds and other market participants on complex domestic and international tax issues arising from real estate investments.
