HR Manager
Join a dynamic team as an HR Manager at a manufacturing plant in Seabrook, NJ , where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping an engaging workplace culture. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will oversee the comprehensive human resources function for a union facility with over 150 employees. - Salary range 100k to 140k
Required Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- At least two (2) years of management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in time management and the ability to work independently.
- A commitment to staying current on laws and regulations affecting HR practices.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Familiarity with union environments and practices.
- Report writing experience.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, or the ability to obtain it.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or relevant field.
- Five plus (5+) years of HR experience, with a focus on manufacturing.
- Additional experience managing in a unionized setting is preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, which includes a mix of office and fieldwork.
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to participate in the group's Safety & Risk Management protocols.
