Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and support a professional front-line presence. You will help to reduce security-related incidents through strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service, while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity, maintain accurate access records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, access issues, and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
