Job Title: Extruder Operator

Location: Sparta, NJ

As an Extruder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion machinery. You will adjust machine settings to maintain quality, perform preventative maintenance, and inspect extruded materials for defects and compliance. Additionally, you will reel, package, and prepare the finished product while maintaining a clean work area and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Inspect extruded materials for defects and compliance.
• Reel, package, and prepare finished products.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety procedures.
• Complete daily inspection logs and production reports.
• Assist with troubleshooting and process improvements.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of manufacturing or extrusion experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
• Proficiency in visually inspecting materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparta, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Sparta,NJ.
