Maintenance Mechanic

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Mechanic to join our facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.

Job Duties:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyor systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems involving gearboxes, belts, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Repairing or replacing cylinders, hoses, solenoids, etc
• Ensure all equipment complies with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and support production during critical operations.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Welding is a plus but not necessary

This is a Permanent position based out of Clifton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Clifton,NJ.
