Job Overview:

Implements Physical therapy treatment in coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Current NJ Licensure
• BLS certification

Preferred:

• APTA Member
• CI Certification by APTA
• NICU experience preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Part-Time
• 20 hours per week
• Weekend and Holiday Requirements

Essential Functions:

• Collaborates scheduling of inpatient caseload in conjunction with supervisor
• Demonstrates compliance with inpatient billing process
• Demonstrates the ability to identify what the patient/member educational needs are
• Directly supervises the clinical work of the technicians and keeps the supervisor and managers informed
• Educates internal and external customers
• Keeps accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Makes recommendations for services outside of the discipline
• Participates in the interdisciplinary patient/member teaching process
• Records appropriate statistical information in and accurate timely manner
• Supervises students
• Evaluate, treat and re-evaluate inpatients to meet the established Standard of Care. Assesses, organizes, and implements outcome tools into professional practice when applicable
• Maintains an open channel of communication among members of the interdisciplinary team involved in patient care including non-clinical support staff
