Line Cook
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well as part of a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
Set up and stock assigned station with necessary supplies.
Ensure food quality, portion control, and proper plating.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation throughout the shift.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
Monitor food inventory and notify management of shortages.
Assist with prep work, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
Properly store food items and rotate stock (FIFO method).
Clean and close down station at end of shift.
