MRI Billing and Collections Specialist

We are a busy and established billing company with a full-time position in the Radiology Medical Billing & Collections department. We are seeking a medical billing & collections specialist that has 2+ years' experience in No-Fault, WC, NY & NJ PIP claims, working with verification request responses, appeals, follow ups, and aging reports. Candidate MUST have knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 codes.

- Payment posting
- Work denials
- Claim follow-ups
- Arbitration/ Liens
- Collections
- Verification request/responses
- Aging reports for accounts receivable
- Calling insurance companies at various stages of the claims process
- Negotiation
- Preparing reports
- Prepare medical records
*Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in the medical field
- Knowledge of No-Fault, WC, NY & NJ PIP claim rules and regulations
- Thorough knowledge and working experience of CPT and ICD10 codes, HIPAA, medical terminology
- Excellent customer service mindset and superb communication skills (written, oral and electronic)
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in Excel

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
