Enrollment Specialist, Alpha - $75,000/year USD

In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, making sure every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, care, and excellence. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep applicant data accurate to support informed decision-making.

What You Will Be Doing

Manage and oversee the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional responses to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with outstanding precision and care

Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow day visits, and community gatherings, both on-site and virtually

Work closely with Lead Guides to arrange shadow day experiences for prospective students

Maintain admissions platforms, records, and follow-up activities with accuracy and currency

• Create admissions policy or render final enrollment decisions
• Function in a role isolated from direct family engagement
• Work within a slow-moving, heavily bureaucratic structure
• Prioritize relationship-building alone without disciplined execution and completion

Enrollment Specialist Key Responsibilities

This position ensures that a frictionless, high-conversion admissions process supports robust enrollment outcomes and family satisfaction at Alpha's campuses.

Basic Requirements

• Experience in education, whether as a teacher, in admissions, enrollment management, or a comparable area
• 2+ years in a customer-facing capacity within admissions, enrollment, event coordination, or similar functions
• Robust administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and meticulous
• Exceptional attention to detail and a history of managing accurate applicant records or CRM information
• Comfortable managing the balance between remote duties and in-person campus obligations
• Capable of adapting swiftly and flourishing in a fast-moving, mission-oriented environment
• Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in San Francisco; CA, Santa Barbara; CA or NYC; NY

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
