Summary

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the successful execution of commercial construction projects in the NJ and PA regions. This role will oversee on-site activities, coordinate with trade partners, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with extensive experience in industrial, healthcare, and life sciences construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities

• Maintain a professional and organized site presentation in line with company expectations

• Verify that design details align with production working documents

• Provide weekly project status updates to maintain workflow and schedules

• Collaborate with trade contractors on on-site pricing for scope changes

• Cultivate strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and project participants

• Manage scheduling, staffing, and quality of work performance

• Oversee coordinated project operations among all trades

• Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders

• Develop and implement project work schedules and critical paths

• Administer and enforce the site safety program, ensuring subcontractor compliance

• Communicate daily with the Project Manager to report progress

• Prepare daily construction reports and maintain updated drawings

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of commercial construction field supervision experience (Industrial, Healthcare, or Life Sciences preferred)

• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of construction

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction with a continuous improvement mindset

• Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, engineers, architects, and project managers

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general laptop/communication tools
