This assignment focuses on PRE-K speech therapy services: managing a caseload of 35 individual students, with additional referrals through Early Intervention. The role extends through at least November, with possible continuation based on needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure and required certifications (must be obtained to interview)
- CCC designation preferred
- Previous experience in schools and/or pediatric settings highly desired
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices a plus
- Ability to evaluate, treat, and document student progress and attend IEP meetings
Primary Duties:
- Provide individualized speech therapy to pre-kindergarten students
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and craft treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Incorporate AAC technology as needed to support student success
