Dispatcher/Shop Quality Control Coordinator

Nielsen Dodge of Morristown is seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Dispatcher / Shop Quality Control Coordinator to lead workflow and quality control at our busy Jeep service department . This position will be responsible for dispatching work, monitoring repair progress, performing road tests, and overseeing a team of 8–10 technicians.

This is a leadership role within the service department and offers strong opportunity for growth and advancement within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch repair orders to 8–10 technicians based on skill level and workload
• Monitor daily shop productivity and adjust workflow as needed
• Track repair progress to ensure timely and efficient completion
• Perform road tests to verify proper repairs and overall vehicle quality
• Conduct final quality control checks prior to vehicle delivery
• Maintain steady workflow to keep technicians productive
• Communicate effectively with service advisors, parts department, and management
• Ensure repairs meet dealership and manufacturer standards

Qualifications

• Previous automotive shop or dealership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of automotive repair and diagnostic processes
• Leadership ability with experience managing or directing technicians
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
