Part-Time School Nurse – 1:1 Student Support (Northern New Jersey)

Position: School Nurse (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse)
Location: Northern New Jersey
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, up to 8 hours per day
Employment Type: Contract / Ongoing

HumanEdge Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Part-Time School Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a student requiring health support throughout the school day and during transportation to and from a specialized program.

This is a wonderful role for a nurse seeking part-time hours, steady daytime work, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on a student’s daily well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany and monitor the student during transport and throughout the school day

• Administer medications and manage health needs as required

• Maintain communication with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers

• Ensure the student’s safety, comfort, and overall well-being

Qualifications:

• Active NJ RN or LPN license

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Prior pediatric or school nursing experience preferred

• Compassionate, attentive, and dependable
