Front End Driver (Liberty Waste & Recycling)
The Front End Driver is responsible for safely operating a front end truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight (GVW) in Mercer, Burlington and Camden Counties. The Front End Driver is part of the Liberty Waste & Recycling team and reports directly to the General Manager of Liberty Waste & Recycling.
Essential Functions
- Safely operate a front end truck
- Lift and empty front load containers
- Properly track and document on electronic activity log
- Report all issues or incidents to the General Manager of Liberty Waste & Recycling
- Pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicle
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
· Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US
- CDL-B
- Department of Transportation medical certificate
- Not prohibited from driving via FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Safe driving record
- Negative drug and alcohol test result
- Previous experience driving a front end truck
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work overtime and on weekends, when necessary
