Job Description:

The Inside Sales & Customer Service department is responsible for providing customer assistance with inbound sales activities from our industrial supply distributor customers that are received via phone, online, or from UNEX sales managers. The goal of the Sales Support & Customer Service department is to exceed our customers expectations, raising the bar on sales support & customer service.

This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, providing product information, preparing quotes, and ensuring a seamless sales experience from initial inquiry through order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage key distributor accounts to ensure UNEX is properly and thoroughly represented in the market.
• Use Microsoft Excel to manage inventory for six accounts.
• Utilize CRM software to manage accounts, track activity, and analyze data to uncover new opportunities and trends.
• Identify and pursue new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Partner with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and lead generation strategies.
• Conduct compelling sales presentations to prospective and existing clients.
• Track and report on sales performance metrics, using CRM and analytics tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associates degree or 3-5 years' experience in lieu of degree
• Highly organized, with a proven ability to manage multiple accounts and competing deadlines efficiently
• Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and present to groups effectively.
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.

Note: This position is 100% onsite in our Lakewood, NJ location. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available at this time
