• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation (radiation therapy treatments) to patients as specifically prescribed by a physician in a detailed treatment plan according to established standards and practices.

Job Requirements :

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation accredited education program or Radiologic Technology/Radiation Therapy Program.
• 1+ years of experience as a radiation therapist with comprehensive clinical knowledge to include treatment delivery and simulation.
• Active and current ARRT certification in Radiological Therapy .
• Basic Life Support and CPR certifications.
• Skillful in leadership, judgement, creativity, and significant knowledge of the field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Aria and EPIC, particularly scheduling, charge capture, treatment delivery, historical treatment record interpretation, and clinical data.

Pay Range Minimum: $35.68

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
