Data Entry Clerk
The Data Entry Clerk at QP Group will be responsible for accurately entering data into databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inputting data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files, and forms
- Checking completed work for accuracy and ensuring it is stored correctly
- Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
- Performing regular data maintenance to ensure accuracy and eliminate duplication
- Responding to information requests from authorized members
- Complying with data integrity and security policies
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
- Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with confidential information
Desired Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in data entry or related field
- Experience working with procurement or supply chain data is a plus
- Experience with data maintenance and backup procedures
Salary & Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $18.5 per hour
- Maximum Salary: $22.5 per hour
- Currency: USD
