​​​We’re seeking a seasoned Aerial Lift Technician for a road/shop service role based out of Edison, NJ. This position focuses on both shop and field repair and maintenance of arborist and construction equipment, with an emphasis on aerial lifts. Ideal candidates are independent, experienced, and skilled in diagnostics, customer service, and working on equipment like JLG or Genie.

Key Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license required
• Minimum 2–5 years hands-on experience with any of the following equipment:
• Aerial Work Platforms (Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts)
• Telehandlers
• Arborist Equipment (Chippers, Stump Grinders)
• Truck-Mounted Lifts (Boom Trucks, Bucket Trucks, Sign Trucks)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of lift and/or heavy equipment (focus on aerials), including hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical
• Conduct equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using both hand tools and diagnostic software
• Deliver high-level customer service in the field; travel to client sites within a 50-mile radius of Bristol, PA
• Operate equipment as needed to complete testing and ensure safe functionality
• Maintain service records, parts logs, and inspection documentation accurately

Strongly Preferred:

• Certification to inspect aerial lifts (ANSI)
• Experience with JLG & Genie equipment
• OEM certification from engine manufacturer (John Deere, Cummins, Kubota, etc.)
• Background with similar rental/equipment companies
• Independent field service experience
