Principal Technical Program Manager - AI/ML Engineering

As a Principal Technical Program Manager in the AI/ML Data Platforms team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration
- Oversee complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes
- Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
- Engage, influence, and drive delivery of multiple AI initiatives with cross-functional, cross-product, and cross-line of business stakeholders.
- Synthesize findings into clear, concise, customer-focused problem statements, recommendations, business cases, analysis, plans of action, and risk assessments
- Drive organizational structure, efficiency, and improvement of operational practices.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
- Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven ability to navigate tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work, while effectively managing the dynamic landscape of AI
- Experience or exposure in the AI ML, Data ecosystem space
- Expertise on the AI and data product lifecycle, spanning from data discovery, data processing, model development, model deployment, and model monitoring
- Microsoft (Azure AI Engineer Associate), Google (Professional Machine Learning Engineer), Amazon (AWS Certified AI Practitioner), AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification, or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certifications
- Experience with controls, compliance, and audit
