Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a line cook or first cook
• Flexible schedule, ability to work long hours when needed
• Evenings, weekends and holidays are a must
• Bilingual preferred
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
• Ability to multi-task
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Works clean and organized during high-volume service
• Strong mise en place discipline and station setup
• Ability to communicate clearly with chef and expo during service
• Most importantly-be a team player, and have a desire to make great food

Job Expectations
The primary objectives of this position are, but not limited to:
Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen station
Strong proficiency in sauté and grill cookery, including temperature control and proper doneness
Comfortable preparing proteins, seafood, pasta, and vegetable dishes from scratch
Ensure quality product and adhere to culinary standards
Prepare all food according to menus, recipes, guidelines and standards set forth by the Sous Chef Executive Chef
Experience in high-volume à la carte service and banquet production preferred
Prior experience in a country club, fine dining, or upscale casual restaurant is a plus
Ensure that all HAACP and MRCC sanitation guidelines and safety standards are maintained
Monitor waste and overproduction
Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-heat environment

Competitive Hourly Wage: $24-27
