We're looking for a Senior LIMS Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing and developing enterprise Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) functionality that supports critical laboratory workflows and business processes. This is a full-time, remote position with occasional travel (up to 10%) and offers a performance bonus. • Design and develop front-end and back-end solutions within StarLIMS v12 environments
• Build integrations with enterprise applications using APIs, web services, and middleware
• Create and optimize reports and dashboards using tools like Advanced Analytics and Crystal Reports
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and SMEs to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
• Provide technical support for validation, troubleshooting, and production systems
• Maintain detailed technical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Manage tasks in Jira and Confluence, ensuring timely updates
• Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related STEM field; Master's degree is a plus
• 5+ years of hands-on LIMS development experience (not administrative)
• Strong SQL skills and experience managing large relational databases
• Expertise in enterprise system integration (REST APIs, web services)
• Proven track record implementing LIMS in regulated environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

• Extensive experience with StarLIMS v12 and its technology layers
• Experience with Advanced Analytics dashboards and Crystal Reports
• Familiarity with NGS instrumentation and workflows
• Proficiency in StarLIMS scripting, HTML5, Jscript, and SQL
