Job Title: Forklift Operator
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our hardware company team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, and organize materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
Responsibilities- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move products and materials
- Load and unload trucks, deliveries, and shipments
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock placement
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure proper operation
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
