Family Law Paralegal
Strata Legal Talent is representing a well-established family law firm in Essex County, New Jersey, seeking an experienced Family Law Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join its team.
Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.This position is ideal for a legal professional with prior family law experience who enjoys working directly with clients, managing active matters, and supporting attorneys through all stages of the litigation process.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials
- Manage case files, calendars, and court deadlines
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Assist with hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Support attorneys with all aspects of family law case management
Qualifications
- Prior family law experience is required
- Familiarity with New Jersey family court procedures preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $65,000 - $90,000+ , depending on experience
