Transit Project Manager

Job Description

Job title: Pass Comm Capital Project Manager
Location: Newark, NJ

Summary:
·Inventory and manage Pass Comm Capital projects portfolio

·Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of Capital Pass Comm related projects

·Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

·Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevantstake holders and ensuring technical feasibility

·Provide guidance to project team throughout project lifecycle to meet applicable business requirements

·Support the development and deployment of project management standards, guidelines and processes

·Report and escalate to management as needed

·Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

·Perform risk management to minimize project risks

·Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

·Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

·Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis

·Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

·Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Requirements:

·Proven working experience in Pass Comm Technologies at TRANSIT

·Proven working experience in project management

·Knowledge of TRANSIT PA system and requirements

·Knowledge of TRANSIT Station signage equipment and systems

·Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

·Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Access or PowerPoint.

·Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.

·Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.

·Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

·Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
