POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a self-motivated AI Communication Specialist to join our delivery team as a full-time, fully benefited employee. In this role, you will work closely with a multi-location community hospital system to transform its research enterprise into a scalable, high-performing, world-class clinical research operation.

In this role you will be responsible for collaborating closely with the Vitalief delivery team to extract AI-generated documents (i.e., meeting minutes, proposals, workshop meetings, internal brainstorming sessions) and humanize the output. In addition, working closely with a Vitalief Senior Project Manager, you will provide project support through this initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverage AI tools to draft, summarize, and structure documentation for diverse stakeholders.
• Transform AI outputs into clear, engaging, human-centered communication.
• Apply editorial judgment to ensure clarity, tone, flow, and impact.
• Synthesize discussions into concise, actionable documents and executive updates.
• Identify gaps, redundancy, and/or inconsistencies in content and optimize for alignment.
• Support project planning, coordination, and tracking of milestones, risks, and decisions alongside a Senior Project Manager.
• Partner closely with a Vitalief Senior Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and documentation across the engagement.
• Assist in scheduling meetings and attending meetings to capture insights and translate them into organized, stakeholder-ready deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required; strong preference for majors in English, Communications, Journalism, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related liberal arts disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in writing-intensive, editorial, communications, consulting support, or project coordination roles.
• Demonstrated ability to transform complex, unstructured information into polished, executive-level documentation.
• Strong understanding of tone, narrative structure, persuasion, and audience psychology.
• High proficiency and comfort working with AI content-generation tools (e.g., prompt engineering, output refinement, workflow optimization).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong critical thinking skills - able to detect inconsistencies, logical gaps, and unclear messaging.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
• Exposure to healthcare or clinical research environments is a preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, visual perception, talking and hearing. Lifting up to 20lbs.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Vitalief partners with clients such as major medical centers and academic institutions that often requires all on-site resources such as prospective Vitalief consultants to be inoculated annually for Influenza and successfully pass a Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis.
