**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions or information, maintaining a helpful presence at the location.
+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entry points and verifying identification as required.
+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and location representatives to address security-related needs and expectations.
+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
