We are seeking a Restaurant Chef to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
• Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
• Check freshness and quality of ingredients
• Assist in the development of menu items
• Standardize recipes and plate presentations
• Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
• Knowledge of cost and labor systems
• Passion for food and serving customers
• Strong leadership qualities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Current restaurant hours are 12PM - 9PM Thursday - Sunday. Being on a golf course, these hours will change as the weather turns cooler, eventually adjusting to 10AM - 4PM daily, with the exception of Thursday and Friday which will stay at 9PM. There are also opportunities to assist the catering department on banquets, holiday parties, etc. Our front of house and back of house share a tip pool, so the kitchen receives 15% of the pool (daily).

Harvest Hospitality Group was formed in 2011 and consists of the following "brands" including: Harvest Specialty Catering (established 1991), Chez Alice Catering Company (established 1991), Beary Smart Lunches (established 2023), and Midnight Moon Cakery (established 2014). In addition, there's two food trailers, Harvest BBQ (established 2014) and O'Lobster (established 2019). Originally established as retail locations, we have transitioned over the years to primarily off-premise catering work along with contract services in a wide range of industries from schools to event locations, including the re-imagined Hopewell Valley Golf Club.
