Civil Project Manager – Trenton, NJ

We're partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead land development and site civil engineering projects in the Trenton, NJ area. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys managing projects, building client relationships, and helping grow a successful practice.

Responsibilities:

• Manage civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Lead project teams and oversee design, permitting, and production efforts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and proposals.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Identify new business opportunities and support business development efforts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to help expand the firm's presence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of civil engineering and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proven experience managing land development or site civil projects.
• Strong business development and client relationship management experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering design software is preferred.
