Responsibilities
- Convert WordPress sites to Shopify ready sites with legacy compelling content and information
- Build out the eCommerce strategy for the firm that includes design and making eCommerce ready pages – to achieve the company’s revenue goals
- Develop and maintain Shopify themes and custom apps.
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
- Optimize site performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Shopify stores.
- Stay current with Shopify updates, Liquid language, and eCommerce trends.
- 2+ years of experience with Shopify development.
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with Shopify Plus, custom app development, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with other platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento).
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices.
- Shopify certification or relevant coursework.
