Housekeeper
The Housekeeper ensures that the premises are safe and sanitary. Housekeeper demonstrates absolute respect and kindness when engaging with youth we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Clean all assigned areas of covenant house buildings including reception areas, lounges, residential units, restrooms, and facility perimeter this will include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping.
- Identify appropriate cleaning materials for specific tasks.
- Support the setup and teardown of special events including cleaning of related linens and equipment.
- Deliver great customer service
- Record and report all damage to the Operations Manager
- Cleaning our Raphael's Life House Location
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
- Required to check emails daily
- All other duties assigned by management staff
Applicant must be available to work Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM (35 Hours a week)
Applicant must be available to work at our Elizabeth Raphael's Life House Location
Hourly Rate : $18.71
Experience and Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to the position including lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Travel with company vehicle throughout Northern New Jersey
