About the Role

CFI Consultants is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with a recruiting and talent operations focus to support a high-volume, regional insurance defense law firm operating across multiple offices. This role will work closely with an established HR team and law firm leadership to help scale staffing, reduce hiring cycle times, and bring structure to recruiting and HR processes in a fast-paced environment.

This is a build role, created in response to sustained growth and increasing hiring volume. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and motivated to improve processes while supporting day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring Support

  • Support full-cycle recruiting for attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and operational staff
  • Actively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter, and related platforms
  • Build and maintain ongoing talent pipelines to support continuous hiring needs
  • Coordinate job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Partner with hiring managers to help define and standardize role expectations

HR Operations & Onboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding documentation, orientation, and system access
  • Support HR administration using Zenefits / TriNet
  • Maintain employee records, compliance documentation, and internal HR workflows
  • Assist with employee inquiries and day-to-day HR support

Process Improvement & Efficiency

  • Learn and master existing HR and recruiting processes during the first several months
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and standardize workflows
  • Assist with implementing process improvements as hiring volume continues to scale

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or talent operations
  • Experience in legal, insurance, professional services, or high-volume environments preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting
  • Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems required
